AKAnomics Inc. is excited to welcome our three summer interns, and collaborate with them on new ideas relating to Nowcasting and equity research.
Samarth Nagaraj: Rising junior at The George Washington University (GWU). Samarth is majoring in International Business and Finance with an Economics minor. At GWU, Samarth is the Vice President of Inclusion for the Undergraduate Business Association, the Director of External Affairs for GW Compass Impact Consulting, and a member of Alpha Kappa Psi’s GWU chapter. Samarth spent last summer working at Ernst & Young as a Business Consulting Intern and is excited to build on his experience by learning more about market forecasting and analytics this summer at AKAnomics.
Rhea Pandit: Rising sophomore at Williams College, pursuing a major in Economics and Neuroscience. She competes on the Varsity Women’s Squash Team and serves as Co-Chair of the South Asian Student’s Association board. Rhea is enthusiastic about learning more on decision-making, whether it is through exploring more quantitatively with investment algorithms at AKAnomics or working with the brain as a research assistant in a Williams Neuroscience lab in the coming fall.
Suchita Sridhara: Rising junior at Wesleyan University. Suchita is pursuing a double major in economics and psychology, and she is passionate about the intersection of behavioral economics with business and finance. Suchita is excited to build on her previous experience as a digital analyst intern by learning more about financial analysis at AKAnomics. At Wesleyan, Suchita is a research assistant for the Wesleyan Cognitive Development Labs, serves on the board for SHAKTI (the South Asian Association on campus), and leads the Wesleyan Ethics Bowl team.
